Now, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yelp-support.com\/article\/Don-t-Ask-for-Reviews?l=en_US\">understand that Yelp for some reason discourages businesses from asking for reviews<\/a> (apparently by asking for a review, you&#8217;re already biasing the customer and putting pressure on them to leave positive feedback. But ANY feedback is always appreciated!) It&#8217;s hard enough for small businesses in America to thrive; when social networks change their algorithms and <em>appear<\/em> to be easily manipulated or tampered with, what can Jane Plumber or Joe Tireshop do to keep up?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, we thrive on word-of-mouth, whether it&#8217;s Yelp, Facebook, or having a conversation at the family BBQ with T\u00eda Linda or Cousin Elmer.
